COMMUNITY ORIENTED CLOTHIER: fourOSix in Helena!

Statriot's on the hunt for some new animal designs, and plans to bust out a couple new'ns re-al soon. Look for new stuff in our dapper High Wide and Handsome line, as well as some sort of design which honors those of you who like to essentially inflate waterbeds and steer them down the harriest whitewater in the land! It'll be some kind of tip of cap to you in the rafting/boating community, if that description lacked clarity. Yeah, a lot in the works. We're also cooking up a brand new website, with lots more photos, sizing options and a real tight look.

Keep it tuned to Statriot, mates and sheilas, and meanwhile listen to the new Eddy Current Suppression Ring record. They're from Melbourne, Australia. The record's called Rush to Relax, is out domestically on Goner. And is halfway between the Minutemen and AC/DC in sound bitchingness!

Your State Seal, Sirs and Madams. (and) Hooded Hooder seen Hooding around like a Hoodlum in Hoodie.

First up, have a look at the new goods, here, friend. Two items of note. Noteworthiness abounds in these parts.

Ahem! The new State Seal design, as we call it, features a minor revision to the mineral-scraping motto of our state: Oso Y Patos, or "bear and ducks" en ingles. No hidden meaning we don't think, just some fun for the sake of it. Available in all sizes with our friends at Betty's Divine and Edge of the World in Missoula, Four-O-Six and Frayed Sew in the Queen City, and at Cactus in Bozeman.

Nextly, our path has taken us into the "full coverage" territory. Yeheap. Hoodies! A few of 'em at least. Most of have been snatched up at the couple of rad fairs (UC Art and Missoula MADE Fair) we did at the end of ought-nine, but we've got a couple still haning around, and if you'd like one in a size we currently haven't got, we can likely get it for you.

Look at this rogue wearing this thing. More like a 9:30 shadow. Jeesh. Anyhow, the Andy Smetanka-designed Montanka is a beauty of a shirt, and we're proud as punch to have partnered with the man, and look to do some more of that here in 2010.

Finally, and not to get all sentimental, but while it was a lot of work, 2009 was also a lot of fun. We met a lot of great folks, sold some shirts, and dug talking to you guys. We appreciate the business that folks have given us, and look forward to doing more of it in 2010. As for what the year holds, we need to get our heads together and set some goals. At minimum, it'd sure be nice to offer you folks in the Flathead Valley, Great Falls Area, and east of center some Statriot wares. Additionally, Idaho and Washington are too close not to have been calling our name, so keep your eyes peeled, and if you're in the retail business, and like what you see, by all means drop us a line. This Statriovka (Czech style liqueur) is what we gave/are giving the folks who did business with us in 2009. Who knows what 2010 will bring?! Homemade fireworks? Throwing knives? Well we just don't know.

NEW FALL DESIGNS: B'LAOW!
In time for fall 2009, the scientists at Statriot Towers have un-hatched a handful of new designs. First up, Montanka, a design by Missoula artist Andy Smetanka. Montanka is a clean, crisp snapshot of Montana's natural wonders, and it's already begun to move into the realm of the gift, for holidays 2009/2010 gift giving. Smetanka's a talent, and we're stoked-as-hell to be able to offer this shirt to the world. His previous art has included animation for musicians as diverse as Volumen, the Decemberists and Le Force, and collaborations with filmmaker Guy Maddin among othe luminaries.



Second is our third in the popular High, Wide and Handsome series, this time with the prince of the prairies, the king of the canyons, the Bison. Betty's Divine in Missoula is currently stocked with both designs, and our other retailers should have them soon. You can alway pick what you need at Statriot's Online Etsy Store.





Third up: our newest, and number two, in the Coats of Arms series, it's Jim Bridger's and John Bozeman's rugged western dream, the gateway city to Yellowstone Nat'l Park, the Bridger Mountains, the Spanish Peaks, the Metcalf Wilderness, and the list goes on, on, on: Bozeman. The Bozeman Coat of Arms is available exclusively via Cactus Records in the Snowy City.

Summer is here, and Statriot stands at the ready, cooler in hand. Friends, we here at Statiot Towers have gone and decided, officially that this internet deal is all-right. We've gotten ourselves well into the 20th century, and commerce can officially occur at our brand-spanking new STATRIOT STORE on the Etsy.com website. It's easy as shoe-fly pie, features a good handful of our shirts and totes, and accepts every type of payment this side of Diner's Club and the Soviet Ruble. Dang!

The Statriot Store has got our brand newest design, known in these parts as the "High, Wide and Handsome (trout)" design. We're awfully proud of it, and owe a debt of grattitude to Monsieur Twigg, whose steady hand helped this thing leap like a mighty Cutthroat right of the soft American cotton. Aahhhhhhh.
